Why we built Evermood

You might be familiar with the feeling of being pulled in different directions, balancing work responsibilities with personal well-being. In this bustling world, where is the support system that understands and addresses our multifaceted needs?

In the past, support within the workplace was limited and often informal. Resources for personal and professional growth were scarce, leaving many employees to navigate their challenges alone.

Remember the days of traditional EAPs and hotlines? They were our first foray into structured employee support — anonymous phone calls offering a listening ear and sometimes guidance, yet often lacking the depth and personalization needed to truly address our diverse needs.

Fast forward to the digital age, where technology has transformed every aspect of our lives, including how we work.

As the workplace evolved, so did the complexity of our challenges. The one-size-fits-all approach of yesterday’s support mechanisms no longer sufficed. Employees sought more than just a voice on the other end of the line — they needed comprehensive, accessible, and tailored support.

The digital age brought with it an explosion of resources, from mental health apps to online professional development platforms. Yet, this abundance often led to overload, leaving employees adrift in a sea of options, unsure where to find the right support.
